May Recap

May was a month filled with learning, exploration, and special celebrations! Our theme, Antarctica and Animals, introduced children to the fascinating animals that live in the Antarctic region. Through stories, songs, art projects, and hands-on activities, the children learned about animals such as penguins and explored their snowy habitats.

Our featured book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, helped children learn about different foods while introducing them to the life cycle of a butterfly. Students also enjoyed learning about the life cycle of a chicken and were excited to observe eggs hatching into baby chicks. Watching the chicks grow was a memorable experience that sparked curiosity and excitement throughout the school.

May was also a busy month filled with special events. We celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week, honored our wonderful mothers during our Mother's Day celebrations, and connected with families during our Parent-Teacher Conferences. Thank you to all our families for your participation and continued support.

Throughout the month, children participated in art, cooking, and music. During circle time, they explored numbers, colors, phonics, and literacy through songs, stories, and group discussions.

We are proud of all the learning and growth that took place this month and look forward to another exciting month of discovery and fun!
