May Recap:
May was an exciting month for the children. We want to thank the mothers attending the Mother’s Day tea party. It was such a great turnout. The children were excited and shared their creative gifts and Mother’s Day cards. I want to thank our families for having our team of teachers and staff be a big part of your child’s life and achievements. We love seeing your children each day. To all our parents and families here at Little Acorn, we appreciate your heartfelt messages of love and support this past year, especially during teacher appreciation week. We thank you for your generous cards, flowers, gifts, and recognition.
June News:
We have a fun-filled and exciting curriculum planned for all our classrooms. In June, the children will learn about Transportation and our state, California. Our book of the month is The Little Red Hen. As our school year ends, we wish all the best for students graduating and moving to new schools. We want all of them the very best!
Friendly reminders and updates:
Father’s Day Celebration! June 16th– please join us for coffee and morning snacks, 9:00 am-10:00 am.
Graduation 2021 Ceremony and Celebration: We will hold our TK/Kinder graduation ceremony on June 26th from 10:30 am-12:00 pm.
Due to limited space, we only allow four (4) guests per student. Please RSVP by June 10th via Evite.
End of the Year Celebration-June 30th: It has been a fantastic school year, and to celebrate, the classes will have a fun end-of-the-year picnic and popsicles!
Our Summer Program will begin July 5th through August 29th. This will include an enriched academic program every morning followed by enjoyable indoor and outdoor activities, such as stimulating projects, various activity centers, sports, cooking, water play, music, dancing, and much more. Each week is themed with a new adventure!
