June 2021

May Recap:

May was a month of change here at Little Acorn, we were so happy to be able to bring back in person events, beginning with our Mother’s Day tea party. Thank you to all the moms who came out, the children were so excited to show off what they have been working on. They were also so happy to spend some time with their moms and friends, it was such a sweet event!  In May, the classes also discussed a lot about changing and evolving, they focused on Whales and Migration, as well as the life cycle of a butterfly. All the classes were able to tend to their own caterpillars and watched them turn into beautiful butterflies. Towards the end of the month, the classes happily released their butterflies into the wild. The classes also enjoyed learning about South America, with so much culture found in this continent there was never a dull moment.

June News:

In June, the classes will be learning about community helpers, and their importance to the community. The classes will be hard at work preparing for our Father’s Day event which will be held on June 18th. The children will create fun gifts and crafts for the special person. As the school year comes to an end, we will also be holding our annual graduation. Graduation will be held on June 21st, please see invites for specific instructions and times. We wish all our little graduates the best!
